The Values Alliance Feedback Request

Find out whether your values ever left the building.

What you say you value. What the people you serve have actually seen.

Your team may know your values by heart. The real question is whether your customers, partners and vendors could name one from something you did. We build a short request around your own values. You send it to five to ten people you trust to tell you the truth, and we read what comes back with you.

Start your request

$495 for your request and a written read. $795 with a 60-minute debrief. Every request starts with a short conversation with us, so there's no checkout. Send us the short form below and we'll set a time.

Knowing your values isn't the same as living them where people can see.

Most values work gets measured from the inside: whether people can say the values, whether leaders talk about them, whether they show up in reviews. That matters. But it only tells you what your own people think. The people who buy from you, partner with you and sell to you are the only ones who can say whether any of it reaches them. A value your customers have no way of seeing is a value you're claiming in private.

How it works

1. We start with a conversation. Before anything is built, we talk with you to make sure the foundation is in place: your values, a definition for each one, and for each value one thing a customer should see you do and one thing they should never see. If you've worked Stage One of the Values Optimization Implementation Guide, you already have most of this. If you haven't, that conversation is where we start. We'll also ask which of those behaviors a customer could actually see from where they sit.
2. We write your questions.Every question asks for an example, not a rating, and only about things the person could have seen. Questions people answer with praise teach you nothing. You get a draft to approve within ten business days of a complete intake, and nothing goes out until you approve it.
3. You ask five to ten people yourself.Choose people who will be honest, not just friendly, and include at least one for whom something went wrong. Your request carries your organization's name, not ours. It takes about ten minutes, every question is optional, and each person sees who will read their answers before they start.
4. We read it with you.You get a written read of the themes: which values people have seen, which they've seen contradicted, and which nobody outside is in a position to judge. That last group is often the most useful finding.

Values Optimization

Part of a Values Optimization implementation? This is Stage Four.

Stage One gives you the standard: each value written down, with what you should and should never see. Stages Two and Three make it visible inside the organization. Stage Four turns it outward and asks the people outside your walls whether they've seen it. The request is built from work you've already done.

On-site implementation clients: it's included. We build your request from your Stage One work and walk through the results with your leadership team in session.

Working through the Values Optimization course on your own? This is the natural next step once you reach Stage Four.

We ran it on ourselves first.

Our own six values spell IMPACT, so ours is the IMPACT Alliance Feedback Request, and we send it to our own clients. Yours carries your own name. The instrument is the same.

Built on trust, not anonymity

Named, on purpose.Alliance Feedback runs on trust in a specific person. Your request tells each respondent exactly who will read their answers, and you ask each one personally. An anonymous form sent to a list is the opposite of that.
Your list stays yours. You choose who to ask and you ask them yourself. We never need your list of names, so we never hold it.
Their words belong to you and to them.We keep anonymous counts across engagements to improve the instrument and report general patterns. We never keep your respondents' words, and nothing we keep identifies you.

Questions leaders ask

How many people should we ask?

Five to ten. Fewer than five and one voice carries too much weight. More than ten and the asks stop being personal, which is the whole point.

Who should we ask?

People who see your work closely enough to have a real answer and who will be honest with you: a long-standing client, an executive sponsor, the person who had to carry your work inside their organization, a vendor who serves you, someone who referred you. And the one people skip: a client who didn't come back.

Why isn't it anonymous?

Because this works through trust in a named person, not through a form. With five to ten people, anonymity would be a pretense anyway. Each person sees who will read their answers before they start, and every question is optional.

How long does it take the people we ask?

About ten minutes.

Do we need to have worked Stage One first?

You need values, a definition for each, and a clear picture of what someone should and should never see. Stage One of the Guide produces all of that. If you're not there yet, we'll tell you in that first conversation and point you to the work that gets you ready.

What if nobody outside can see one of our values?

That's a finding, not a failure. It tells you exactly where a value stays inside your walls, and that's where to work next.

Ask the people who would know.

Tell us a little about your organization and we'll set up a short conversation. In the box below, let us know whether you'd like the written read ($495) or the read with a debrief ($795), and whether your values are already written down with a definition for each.

This comes to Wes and Cindy directly. We use it to reply to you, we don't sell or share it, and sending it doesn't add you to a mailing list.
